FOSB immunoreactivity in endothelia of epithelioid hemangioma (angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia)
Journal of Cutaneous Pathology Mar 29, 2018
Ortins-Pina A, et al. - The FOSB staining pattern in epithelioid hemangiomas (EH) with angiolymphoid hyperplasia and eosinophilic morphology (EH-AHLE) was evaluated and the value in differential diagnosis of epithelioid vascular tumors was determined. FOSB immunohistochemistry was sensitive in the diagnosis of EH-ALHE and allowed differentiation from histologic mimics. An immunohistochemical panel, including FOSB in addition to pan-cytokeratin AE1/AE3 and endothelial markers, assists in the diagnosis of epithelioid vascular tumors.
