Chhina AK, et al. - Researchers used various airway predictive indices, in isolation and combination, to predict difficult intubation. They formulated a multivariate model that can aid in accurate prediction of difficult intubation. It was noted that a reliable, accurate and quick preoperative prediction of difficult intubation was provided by a combination of Mallampati grade, sternomental distance, neck movements and neck circumference.
