Follow-up assessment of coiled intracranial aneurysms using zero echo time (zTE) MR angiography (MRA) as compared with TOF MRA: A preliminary image quality study
European Radiology Sep 07, 2017
Shang S, et al. – A preliminary image quality study was designed to evaluate coiled intracranial aneurysms applying a novel non–contrast enhanced zero echo time (zTE) MR angiography (MRA) method, and compare its image quality with time–of–flight (TOF) MRA, applying digital subtraction angiography (DSA) as reference. Clinicians exhibited evidence that zero echo time MR angiography displayed promising results for follow–up assessment of coiled intracranial aneurysms and was superior to time–of–flight MR angiography for visualizing the parent artery and assessing occlusion status.
