Barberio AM, et al. – This study assessed thyroid disorder diagnoses and indicators of thyroid functioning in relation to fluoride exposure in a national population–based sample of Canadians. As per findings, there was no association between being exposed to fluoride and having impaired thyroid functioning in a time and place where multiple sources of fluoride exposure, including community water fluoridation (CWF), existed.
