Al-eesa NA, et al. - Authors probed the ability of a novel BAG-resin adhesive to form apatite in 3 immersion media. Experts noted a difference in this novel BAG-resin adhesive and the currently used adhesives by promting apatite formation, particularly under acidic conditions. Therefore, by applying it in the clinical situation to bond orthodontic brackets the frequent occurrence of white spot lesion formation around the brackets could be discouraged. On the disk surface, apatite was formed with the BAG-resin, which increased with time, especially in AS4 and AS7.
