Kao Y, et al. - Authors compared the efficacies of hyper-osmotic and iso-osmotic solutions in restoring hemodynamic stability after burn injuries by conducting a systematic review and meta-analysis. For severe burns, hyper-osmotic fluid resuscitation seemed an attractive choice in terms of total body surface area or burn depth. They recommended further investigation to confirm the results.
