Reissmann B, et al. - The long-term clinical outcomes of visually guided laser balloon (VGLB)-based pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF) were evaluated herein. Findings revealed that as a treatment option for drug-refractory PAF, VGLB ablation demonstrated safety and afforded 5-year single and multiple procedure arrhythmia-free survival of 51 and 78%, respectively.
