Fish consumption and prostate cancer risk and mortality in a Danish cohort study
European Journal of Cancer Prevention Jun 21, 2018
Outzen M, et al. - Researchers explored the link between prediagnostic fish intake (total, lean, fatty) and incidence of total and high-grade prostate cancer and the risk of all-cause and prostate cancer-specific mortality among men with prostate cancer. Among 27,178 men, 1,690 prostate cancer cases were recognized through 2012. This investigation did not find a strong relationship between fish consumption and the risk of or mortality from prostate cancer. It was noted that only a higher intake of fatty fish was linked with a higher risk of prostate cancer-specific mortality.
