Goldberg SL et al. - Patients with chronic phase-chronic myeloid leukemia (CP-CML) require careful monitoring of cytogenetic/molecular responses (CyR/MR) to achieve optimal outcomes.SIMPLICITY is a study involving management patterns of patients with CP-CML receiving first-line tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy. It was shown in the current study that the NCCN and ELN recommendations on response monitoring have not been adopted in routine clinical practice, thus impacting patient outcomes.
