Power A, et al. - This trial encompassed the formulation of a clinical prediction tool for coarctation and elucidation of the diagnostic outcomes of patients with fetal right ventricular (RV) prominence. The yielded model aptly classified 45/54 non-coarctation and 19/21 coarctation cases, with 90% sensitivity and 83% specificity. Developing an accurate prediction tool for coarctation in cases of fetal RV prominence served as a crucial, first step in bringing about an improvement in the management of these challenging cases.
