Nasioudis D, et al. - This study was performed to assess the prevalence and safety of uterine preservation among premenopausal women diagnosed with a malignant ovarian germ-cell tumor (MOGCT) of advanced stage (stage II-IV). Researchers observed no decreased survival with uterine preservation. Thus in women with advanced stage GCTs interested in future fertility, uterine preservation should be considered.
