Ferrier C, et al. - The fertility outcomes were determined in women wishing to conceive after experiencing a severe complication from surgical removal of colorectal endometriosis. Outcomes revealed the pregnancy rate (PR) of 41.2% (spontaneously for 80%, after ART procedure for 20%) among these women. Even if the PR and cumulative pregnancy rate (CPR) appeared satisfactory in this study, septic complications could negatively impact fertility outcomes. For these patients, rapid ART could be a good option.
