Gilsanz P, et al. - This investigation contemplated the correlation between early-adulthood and mid-adulthood hypertension with dementia, among men and women. It was noted that midlife hypertension was a common occurrence in men. Nevertheless, it displayed a link with dementia risk alone, in women. Sex differences in the timing of dementia risk factors depicted prominent implications for brain health and hypertension management.
