Feasibility of endobronchial ultrasound transbronchial needle aspiration for massively parallel next-generation sequencing in thoracic cancer patients

Turner SR, et al. - Whether endobronchial ultrasound transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) provides sufficient material for next-generation sequencing (NGS) in thoracic cancer patients, was investigated herein. EBUS-TBNA was recognized as a suitable option for comprehensive NGS testing in patients with thoracic malignancies as it reliably provided adequate tissue for hybrid capture NGS.
