Feasibility and safety of virtual-reality-based early neurocognitive stimulation in critically ill patients

Turon M, et al. – In this current study, researchers tested the feasibility, safety, and suitability of an early neurocognitive stimulation intervention based on virtual reality for critically ill patients. The findings of this proof–of–concept study were indicative of feasibility, safety, and tolerability of a virtual–reality–based neurocognitive intervention, that stimulated cognitive functions and satisfied critically ill patients.
