International Journal of Cancer Oct 04, 2018
Fassier P, et al. - Among cancer survivors of the NutriNet-Santé cohort, researchers analyzed weight-loss restrictive diets and fasting practices, as well as related socio-demographic and lifestyle factors. Two thousand, seven hundred forty-one cancer survivors completed a questionnaire about their practices in October 2016. Results of this study suggested that cancer survivors commonly utilized weight-loss restrictive diets. In this investigation, fasting was less common though the difference was non-negligible. Data reported that patients who received nutritional information from health care professionals were less inclined to practice fasting or weight-loss restrictive diet.
