Factors associated with urinary incontinence in pregnant adolescents: A case-control study

Barbosa L, et al. - The factors associated with urinary incontinence (UI) in pregnant adolescents were investigated. UI in pregnant adolescents was observed in association with the variables such as age between 10 and 14 years, previous UI, and constipation. They recommended giving attention to primigravidae with these factors in order to ensure referral to the appropriate healthcare professional for early prevention of UI.
