Moshesh M, et al. - Factors and symptoms associated with low-lying IUDs as defined by ultrasound were assessed. Researchers noted that women with a low-lying IUD were more frequently of lower education and higher BMI, and reported more dysmenorrhea. Additional counseling and closer follow-up after IUD placement could be beneficial for women who are obese.
