del Mar Travieso-Aja M, et al. - The researchers performed this retrospective study to assess the precision of the pre-surgical measurement of the size of breast cancer by contrast-enhanced spectral mammography (CESM). With CESM, quality of tumour size prediction was good. CESM appeared to be a promising imaging technique in the surgical planning of breast cancer. However, biological tumour features, and anthropological characteristics of the patients did affect the diagnostic precision and ought to be taken into account.
