The participants were kept on watch and wait strategy with the potential to avoid major surgery. In this study, increasing local regrowth was prophesied in cT stage in subjects with rectal cancer and clinical complete response after chemoradiotherapy managed by watch and wait. In this investigation, these data implicated the clinician-patient decision making.
