Gurnaney HG, et al. - Herein, researchers focused on extubation in the operating room after pediatric liver transplant. Successful extubation, carried out in the operating room immediately following surgery, in more than half of the total pediatric liver transplant patients was reported. Early extubation when employed in selected subpopulations of pediatric patients undergoing liver transplantation, was believed to be safe.
