Pavasini R, et al. - In a meta-analysis, researchers determined pooled event rate of short-term mortality and complications of acute coronary syndrome patients treated with extracorporeal circulatory support. Findings revealed that treatment with extracorporeal circulatory support still conferred a high rate of short-term mortality and complications in this group of patients.
