Extracellular interleukin-17F has a protective effect in oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma

Almahmoudi R, et al. - Experts evaluated the IL-17F expression in oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma tissue. In oral tongue SCC, extracellular mast cell-derived IL-17F was antitumorigenic. Patients with early-stage disease who were at high were separated from the patients who were at low risk with the help of it. Also, experts concluded while analyzing tentative prognostic molecules that attention must be paid to the cellular source, distribution, and location of the molecule in addition to the staining intensity.
