Ambe PC, et al. - Extranodal metastasis (ENM) was studied as an independent risk factor for poor overall survival in patients with node-positive colorectal cancer (CRC). An association was shown between extranodal metastasis with a high probability of tumor-related mortality and poor overall survival. It was determined that extranodal metastasis served as an independent prognostic factor in patients with node-positive colorectal cancer.
