Li W, et al. - In this study, the protein profile in plasma of lung adenocarcinoma of stages I–IV were identified, and novel diagnostic biomarkers were investigated. Findings suggested that plasma SCGB3A2 affords a potential maker for diagnosis of primary pulmonary adenocarcinoma. A possible association of abnormal post-translational protein modification with the progression of lung cancer was also suggested.
