Expanded cardiac rehabilitation in socially vulnerable patients with myocardial infarction: A 10-year follow-up study focusing on mortality and non-fatal events
BMJ Open Jan 28, 2018
Hald K, et al. - This trial encompassed a long-term follow-up on the socially differentiated cardiac rehabilitation (CR) intervention. Furthermore, experts analyzed the influence of this intervention on all-cause mortality, cardiovascular mortality, non-fatal recurrent events and major cardiac events (MACE) after 10 years. Data illustrated prominent results of the socially differentiated CR intervention at 1-year follow-up. Nevertheless, there were no long-term effects with regard to the all-cause mortality, cardiovascular mortality, non-fatal recurrent events and MACE at 10-year follow-up.
