Casartelli NC, et al. - Authors gauged the responsiveness to exercise therapy of patients with femoroacetabular impingement syndrome (FAIS), and differences in hip function, strength, and morphology between responders vs non-responders. At short term, exercise therapy benefits half of the patients with FAIS. Findings suggested an association of the responsiveness to hip abductor strength and dynamic pelvic control improvements with good therapy outcome, whereas they noted a correlation of the presence of severe cam morphology with poor therapy outcome.
