Evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Medicine May 28, 2021
Liu F, Zhang, Z, et al. - This study was undertaken to investigate the effects of brief mindfulness training on athletes’ flow. Researchers used the 2 (experimental conditions) × 2 (time) mixed design including a total of 57 student-athletes. Individuals were randomized into either a brief mindfulness group (n = 29) or a control group (n = 28). This study’s findings demonstrate that brief mindfulness training could significantly improve athletes’ flow and resilience, and resilience partly mediated the effects of brief mindfulness training on flow.
