Ng AYM, et al. – The clinicians investigated the impact of a home–based palliative heart failure (HPHF) program on quality of life (QOL), symptoms burden, functional status, patient satisfaction and caregiver burden among patients with exclusively focus on end–stage heart failure (ESHF). In enhancing the QOL of ESHF patients, the HPHF program was effective, satisfaction with care and caregiver burden. For some of the symptoms, the program had potential to reduce distress.
