Shindo T, et al. - This trial encompassed the clarification of the clinical utility of urinary DNA methylation for the identification of intravesical recurrence of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). The inference drawn was that urinary methylation of miRNA genes could serve as a useful marker for detecting and predicting bladder cancer (BCa) recurrence.
