Evaluation of bone erosions in rheumatoid arthritis: the ultrasound score for erosions vs the modified sharp/van der Heijde score for erosions
The Journal of Rheumatology Mar 06, 2021
Grosse J, Allado E, Albuisson E, et al. - This study was undertaken to investigate the relationship between the UltraSound Score for Erosions (USSe) and the modified Sharp/van der Heijde score for erosions (SHSe). Researchers included a total of 108 patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). They assessed SHSe by 2 or 3 blinded readers (in case of discordance) on radiography. The data exhibited that in RA, the USSe appears to be a valuable tool for evaluating erosive damage.
