Capitanio U, et al. – Authors aimed at assessing the utilization rates of lymph node dissection (LND) in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) over time in Europe. They recognized a trend towards lower LND over time for RCC patients who underwent radical nephrectomy (RN) or nephron sparing surgery (NSS). LND was observed more frequently in younger patients, locally advanced diseases and in case of open surgery.
