Xu YY, et al. – The underlying etiology of intracranial stenosis was evaluated in young patients, with the aid of the high–resolution magnetic resonance imaging (HRMRI). The findings concluded that atherosclerosis was the most common cause of intracranial stenosis in Chinese young patients. Non–atherosclerosis disease served as a significant etiology in young female, particularly in the patients aged 35 years old or younger.
