Huerta-Franco MR, et al. - Authors used the Cerner Health Facts database to determine the racial/ethnic differences in Helicobacter pylori infection (HP) infection associated with gastrointestinal (GI) diagnoses/symptoms. The highest risk of HP associated with upper GI symptoms/diagnosis was noted among black and Asian Pacific/Islander (API) populations. Furthermore, black patients had the highest risk for HP associated with GI cancer.
