Martinez–Gonzalez MC, et al. – The association between people's perception of esthetic dermatology treatments and emotional well–being were investigated here, along with differences in gender. It was noted that people familiar with Aesthetic Dermatology and displayed a better attitude toward it, were more self–confident, more optimistic and more motivated, exhibiting emotional strength. In terms of gender, it was expected that women could seek more consultation and esthetic dermatology treatments than men do.
