Erythropoietin in patients with traumatic brain injury and extracranial injury-A post hoc analysis of the erythropoietin traumatic brain injury trial
The Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Sep 04, 2017

The authors revealed that in TBI patients with a more severe extracranial injury, EPO administration was correlated with a potential differential improvement in 6–month mortality. These findings needed confirmation in future clinical and experimental studies.
