Smith D, et al. - This work was planned to assess the association between endometrial carcinoma ER and PR status and endometrial cancer (EC) survival, accounting for inter-observer variation. In analyses adjusting for known prognostic factors, ER and PR expression in combination (using cut-points that capture variation in scoring and across cores) had a significant association with EC-specific survival. However, ER and PR expression at the individual level seemed not improving mortality prediction.
