Hararah MK, et al. - From 2004 to 2012 in the National Cancer Database 532 participants were assessed to know the epidemiology and treatment patterns for primary tracheal squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC). Authors noted 25% of overall survival. They recorded 20% of cases underwent limited surgery (LS)+adjuvant therapy (AT) or curative surgery (CS)+AT, 20% underwent LS or CS only, and 17% underwent radiation therapy (RT) alone whereas 26% of candidates were given chemoradiation (CRT). Worse outcomes were reported among elderly patients and those with poor performance status.
