Eosinophil-to-monocyte ratio is a potential predictor of prognosis in acute ischemic stroke patients after intravenous thrombolysis
Clinical Interventions in Aging May 28, 2021
Chen Y, Ren J, Yang N, et al. - Researchers conducted this retrospective interventional cohort study to explore the connection between eosinophil-to-monocyte ratio (EMR) and 3-month clinical outcome after treatment with recombinant tissue plasminogen activator for acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients. In total, 280 AIS patients receiving intravenous thrombolysis were retrospectively selected for this investigation. Complete blood count evaluations for EMR were performed on 24 hours admission. The lower levels of EMR were independently linked to poor outcome and dead status in AIS patients.
