Enterovirus infection and subsequent risk of Kawasaki disease: A population-based cohort study

Weng KP, et al. - The objective herein was to explore the association between Kawasaki disease (KD) and enterovirus (EV) infection in Taiwan. Data illustrated a higher association between KD and previous EV infection in Taiwanese children, particularly in those aged 3–5 years old, with female sex, with less urbanization level, with a low-income parental occupation and with allergy.
