Moreno-Eutimio MA, et al. - The intention of the researchers was to discern the effects of a carbohydrate polymer with zinc oxide therapy on the chronic venous leg ulcers (CVUs). It was inferred that this carbohydrate polymer with zinc oxide treatment alongside venous compression enhanced the healing of CVUs. It also led to an improvement in the quality of life owing partly to its anti-inflammatory properties.
