Roth J, et al. - This study was planned to characterize the indications, considerations and outcome of endoscopic third ventriculostomy (ETV) in patients with neurofibromatosis type I (NF1) gathered in a multicenter international cohort. Findings suggested ETV as a safe treatment option for selected patients with NF1 and obstructive hydrocephalus. Researchers recommended considering individual anatomical and pathological aspects.
