Choe WH, et al. - Researchers carried out this study to assess the outcomes of endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) in treating early gastric cancer (EGC) in patients with liver cirrhosis (LC). In patients with EGC and comorbid LC, ESD was feasible, even those with Child-Pugh classification (CP-class) B cirrhosis. Their prognosis depended on LC-related diseases and not recurrent EGC.
