International Journal of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology Feb 28, 2018

Montague GL, et al. - Researchers aimed at describing the outcomes of a series of neonates undergoing percutaneous endoscopic suture lateralization for bilateral vocal-fold immobility (BFVI) using a novel technique. Findings suggested that for neonatal BVFI, endoscopic percutaneous suture lateralization could be a safe and effective non-destructive primary treatment modality. In all neonates, who underwent this procedure, tracheotomy was avoided.
