Hedberg HM, et al. - Researchers here aim to assess whether endoscopic gastrojejunostomy revision is a more effective procedure than medical management alone for regain after gastric bypass. Findings suggest that compared to medical management alone, endoscopic revision provides significantly greater weight loss. Results show that obesity-related comorbidities could be resolved with the help of revision. Pouch reduction at time of stoma revision might improve weight loss as per the analysis of intraoperative factors.
