Mizukawa S, et al. - Here, researchers examined the immediate and long-term outcomes of endoscopic balloon dilatation for benign hepaticojejunostomy anastomotic stricture (HJAS) in patients who had previously undergone Whipple’s procedure using a double-balloon endoscope (DB-ERC). In the case of benign HJAS, endoscopic balloon dilatation with DB-ERC was found to be effective and safe, displaying good immediate technical success and few adverse events.
