Endoplasmic reticulum stress induced LOX-1+CD15+ polymorphonuclear myeloid-derived suppressor cells in hepatocellular carcinoma
Immunology Dec 12, 2017
Jiang N, et al. - The goal of this research was to investigate the existence lectin-type oxidized LDL receptor-1 (LOX-1) polymorphonuclears myeloid-derived suppressor cells (PMN-MDSC) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients. Findings revealed that HCC patients had elevated LOX-1+CD15+ PMN-MDSC. Via ROS/Arg I pathway induced by endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, LOX-1+CD15+ PMN-MDSC suppressed T cell proliferation in these subjects. In addition, data demonstrated that they presented positive association with the prognosis of HCC patients.
