Narice BF, et al. - Researchers investigated the effectiveness of endometrial sampling (ES: Pipelle vs other devices) in managing abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) in low-risk patients via performing an electronic literature search in MEDLINE via OvidSP, Scopus, and Web of Science for relevant English-language articles from 1984 to 2016. As per findings, low-risk women presenting in the outpatient setting with symptomatic AUB could be managed using Pipelle in combination with clinical assessment and ultrasound scanning.
