Caniglia EC, et al. - Authors here aimed at comparing the effect of preconception initiation of zidovudine, lamivudine, nevirapine (ZDV/3TC/NVP) vs tenofovir, emtricitabine, efavirenz (TDF/FTC/EFV) on adverse birth outcomes. In the current work, compared with TDF/FTC/EFV, preconception initiation of ZDV/3TC/NVP could amplify the risk of adverse birth outcomes.
