Emergency airway response team simulation training: A nursing perspective

Crimlisk JT, et al. – This quality improvement study examined the outcomes of Emergency Airway Response Team (EART) simulation training. Findings supported the use of simulation training to increase nurses' knowledge, confidence, and team dynamics in an EART response. It was reported that nurses with no previous experience achieved outcome scores similar to nurses who had experience. These findings suggested that emergency airway simulation was an effective way to train both new and experienced nurses.
